11 April update: All of the additional tickets have now gone – you’re super speedy!
Today we can proudly announce that the venue for the big yak is eBay’s offices in London. It’s an ideal space for 180 internal communication professionals to gather as it has room for us to be together and also host smaller sessions as part of the unconference format. Huge thanks to eBay for hosting the big yak for us.
It’s a funky place too, with lots of informal areas. We’ve given you a sneaky peek on this page and know you’re going to like it as much as we do! The office is in Richmond, so has good transport links by rail and for those of you who are flying in to London.
We’re busy creating a dedicated website, www.thebigyak.co.uk (currently points you back here), which will have all the information you need to know, including travel, timings etc. For now, check out our page on this site and we’ll keep you updated to let you know when the site is live.
The big yak is on 22 June and supported by VMA Group and theblueballroom. We have some great ideas planned to make it the networking event of the year. It runs from 10am-4.30pm and we’ve even got Benjamin Ellis to facilitate the overall event.
We’re thrilled that so many IC pros are coming along, we’re looking forward to seeing you all.
