Today is the final day for The IC Crowd, a non-profit partnership set up by Rachel Miller, Dana Leeson and Jenni Field.
We are ending on a high after 10 years of The IC Crowd Community, five Big Yak events and nearly 9,000 tweets that have connected and helped those in internal communication.
When we started the Crowd we wanted a space on Twitter for internal comms pros to come together and learn from each other. A space to ask questions and connect. The Big Yak brought this to life and the unconference style worked perfectly for people to connect, share and debate on a Saturday.
In those 10 years a lot has changed. Not only for us as individuals but in the industry. New networks have been created and new spaces now exist for people to connect with others in internal comms. The community is thriving.
