The big yak

This is the link you need to get your ticket

15 March UPDATE: We’ve sold out! 100 tickets for the big yak went in 26 hours. You lot are speedy! This website is the place where all the information about the event will be posted. We’ll also keep you updated via Twitter @theICcrowd. We’re looking forward to seeing you.

Chatting, talking, jabbering and yakking… It’s all about conversations and it’s time to have a big old yak about all things internal communication.

Inviting all internal comms pros, far and wide to the big yak on Saturday 22 June, the latest gathering of The IC Crowd. Everyone is welcome for a day where the agenda is set by you. In true unconference style, you decide what the topics are and we will pull together the sessions for you with facilitators from across the industry.

The big yak is happening in London and will start at 10am and finish at 4.30pm.

We will be sharing more details about the venue soon, but the date is fixed and tickets are now up for grabs and completely free.

Supported by VMA Group and theblueballroom, we have some great ideas planned to make the big yak the networking event of the year. It runs from 10am – 4.30pm and we’ve even got Benjamin Ellis to facilitate the overall event

Benjamin has worked in communications for over 15 years, in some of the world’s most engaged and fastest growing businesses, as well as some of the most challenged. He has championed web technologies for two decades and is well known in the worlds of social media and technology, uniquely combining his background in technology with current research in psychology. You can find him on Twitter @benjaminellis.

So go and grab yourself a ticket

The small print:

  • The event is free and open to everyone in internal communication
  • There are 100 tickets available. First come, first served
  • You need to complete registration for each person planning to come because they need a ticket each
  • We will communicate the London-based venue in the near future, we’re just finalising details, so will share everything when we can
  • As the majority of The IC Crowd members are in-house professionals, we are keen that this event allows us to network with others
  • This means we welcome agencies, but we will cap the number of agency participants to 20, so that we have a good mix of industries and experiences to share with each other.

Further information between now and Saturday 22 June
We will be keeping you updated with progress, full information and all you need to know via our website – you’re in the right place to find out more about The big yak.

If you have any questions, do tweet us @theICcrowd. We’re looking forward to seeing you.
